Hello,
i created a page about a month ago and it still isn't indexed by google. I have read up on how to optimize for indexing but nothing seems to work. Can anybody tell me what i'm doing wrong here?

You do not have much content on home page. One link that goes to a flash page which Search Engines can not read. Some HTML Coding errors. Did you take advantage of all of the Google Web Tools for getting your site Search Engine friendly?

Yes its frustrating!

You must submit your site to search engines or they will not be looked at. Some free webhosting sites will be passed over even then.

I'm just dumbing down paynelesses response. lol
Once google is aware of the page it will index it within a week usually. It used to take up to 6 weeks.

Investigate webrings if you are in a real hurry. lol

Create a robots.txt file and an XML Sitemap. In your robots.txt file, add
Code: Sitemap: http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml

This will be the URL to your XML sitemap.

Once this is done, make sure to check out XML Sitemaps and XML Sitemaps for Live.com for instructions on how to sign up and manage your links / pages on Google, Yahoo, and Live.com.

also - try to get linked to from somewhere, anywhere (like this forum - well done)

that can help your site get noticed by the bots
