You would be well of looking here http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/frame.html.
The size of your images are killing the layout and having the browser resize them is not good. You don't have to use tables at all with the layout and would have less markup without them. |

Thanks for the reply! The Stu Nicholls page was great and it helped me to get my page working a lot better. It is now working in Explorer 7 and Mozilla, but it still will not work in Explorer 6 or less - yet Stu Nicholls page does.
I fixed my header images so that they are saved at the same size as I would like them to appear in the page and got rid of the table.
Otherwise I just can't get this to work in earlier versions of Explorer and need to resolve this problem soon.
Thanks!! |

NAMOS BC is a registered non-profit society that monitors amphibians of the Central Interior of British Columbia. We are responding to the global amphibian extinction crisis. In 2004 the Global Amphibian Assessment reported that 32% of all amphibian species are threatened with extinction. Amphibians are leading the extinction crisis, followed by 23% of all mammals and 12% of birds. Rates of current amphibian species extinction exceed 200X that of the background rate measured in the fossil record. Population level diversity is disappearing at 10X this rate. Hence, this issue is not only addressed through the loss of species diversity, but the loss of local populations greatly reduces the supply of ecological services to society.

The IUCN Species Survival Commission has since published Amphibian Conservation Action Plan. The plan calls for an international response. The purpose of NAMOS BC is to implement a systematic conservation plan that is based upon scientific research and to educate on amphibian ecology as a supporting infrastructure in natural resource based communities of the Central Interior of BC.

Research, education, and public outreach are three domains included in the mandate of NAMOS BC's constitution and strategic plan. Ecology is the foundation of our research as we map distributions, population sizes, migration patterns, and breeding behaviors in relation to health, genetics, habitat and land practice. Our education program targets various age groups as we; teach, hire and mentor biology students at the University of Northern British Columbia; develop age-suited curricula about amphibian ecology; design information pamphlets or signs about amphibians in city parks; and host information booths where people can read about amphibians and learn how to report sightings. Strategic planning requires that NAMOS BC coordinate data sharing and other services to a network of individuals ranging from local volunteers to First Nations, government, universities, industry, and other non-profit organizations. Public outreach is in NAMOS BC's mandate as we strive to conserve amphibians that are keystone elements sustaining the forestry based resource economy of British Columbia.
