the above is a temporary page set up to attempt to create a new layout for http://www.myspace.com/haunts

since i started doing this i've run into numerous problems (myspace is basically not my friend at the moment!) it refuses to let you use javascript (so mouseovers went out the window as i understand it is tricky to do in css.. and i have little to no knowledge of css) and if you create a flash button (which allows mouseovers) myspace will block the link coming from it...

so i finally thought i had cracked it.. to have the flash menu on the page with dead buttons that have mouse overs and to have another div layer in the exact same place with transparent png's over each button to serve as the link!.. this appeared to work in the offline htm file i created but within myspace the links just appear to refresh the myspace profile and not do what they are meant to... i looked into the code and my links have been transformed into the myspace safe link and these myspace safe links do go to where i intend them to so where am i going wrong?!

also when i select all on the page there appears to be another div layer possibly to the right of the page which is stopping the last 3 buttons from doing anything.. and i can't figure out what or where that is in the code..
