Im looking to start a paid membership networking site so to speak. In which guests can come and browse the members profiles for free but in order to make a profile you have to pay a membership fee. I have searched around and on a different forum someone sugessted using Boonex, Dolphin Smart Community builder to make the kind of site i want.

Thing is the guy that told me to use it hasn't used it, just heard it was good by world of mouth. So im trying to find someone that has used it or that knows of another software program that can assist me with this build.

If you havent noticed already im FRESH to Html, asp, php etc... I would like to find something that is similar to Frontpage or another WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) designing platform. Otherwise its going to take me A LONG TIME to learn all the coding and language i need to build it with out help..

Hopefully someone can assist me or atleast point me in the right direction...

Hotscripts will have a number of them to check out. But the first thing would be to decide what language you are going to want to use. And this will be dependent on the platform you are using to host (*NIX or Windows).

Usually it is better to choose ASP / .NET with MS Access / MSSQL databases on windows and PHP with mysql database on *NIX.

I have not heard of Boonex but most scripts will offer you the ability to check out how they function before buying it. And in the features it should tell you if it will work the way you would like.
