Hi, I was wondering...
I work at a newspaper, and we post stories regularly and to grab readers' attention, the new stories have TODAY in bright red. After the first day, we manually edit each story and remove the text. Is there any way to insert code with this so that at a defined time period the TODAY text disappears, thus saving an extra step of having to manually change it all?
Thanks |

Your webmaster should be able to set this up, but you could use Server Side Includes (SSI) if you are editing/replacing content daily or the same content needs to be updated on many pages.
Using this method will allow you to edit just the include file, upload and overwrite the old one and have the changes appear on the pages that have the include code. |

| Ok cool, I've worked with Server Side Includes before but I didn't think of that. I wonder if it will work within our Content Management System, we use College Publisher... I'll look into it, thanks. |

| You're welcome. I think if you use PHP includes, it should work ok. Post back, please, as I would be interested in knowing for sure about CMS and includes. |
