Is there an easy way to remove frames and not disturb the existing page content?

I've had a site dropped in my lap that is done in frames and it's been suggested to get away from that. Extensive site, hoping not to have to start from _blank

Not an easy way to remove frames unless it is a frame page with only 2, maybe 3 frames. You'll have to replace the doctype on each main content page, name the main page what the original frame page was, recode it to include all content as the frame page had it so the presentation looks the same..
