Hello, I have created a few web sites now using flash but each time I have the same problem, can anyone help me or point me in the direction of the HTML code I can use that means the flash animation displays in the same way on the different internet browsers, as at present I cant create some thing that looks fine in explorer but the background colour will be completely different when viewed through Firefox.

Hopefully some one can help me with the HTML code

Design for Firefox only. It is the only browser currently closest to meeting the CSS 2.1 Standard. All other browser will have their own quirks in parsing web pages depending on the browser developers ideas on how the browser should handle HTML and CSS.

You can't get it perfert unless you make and feed a separate CSS file for every browser. IE has its problems because it has bugs and does not calculate dimensions as expected. See:
