Is there a way i can find out how to get to the cgi-bin? Can i make my own cgi-bin. I have no clue what to do. I just made a folder and named it cgi-bin. If your hosting service offers CGI support you should see the folder on the same directory level as your web folder when you first enter your webspace using your FTP client. Most hosting companies that charge for web hosting offer the service. If it is a "free" hosting service there is probably no CGI access or you may be limited to running pre-packaged scripts from the host's common CGI folder.
Long story short, if you don't see it then it probably is not available. You cannot create a CGI folder by naming one cgi-bin. |
