Hello everyone...

I'm new to this forum, and I have a complex situation to start out with. First a little info to help you understand what’s going on. A friend and I are starting a little at home business. I'm a full time student and he is a stay at home dad. I'm not an expert at html, but I can get around pretty good. I am new at scripting and stuff along those lines, and I use nothing but notepad for my html writing.

But anyway...

What I need is an order form. Where the customer selects options, and from whatever they select be shown the total price of what they have selected and then be able to submit their order.

This is something I have played around with real fast, mostly html and a little JavaScript.

The way its setup right now is CGI mailto. The order form can stay like that I don't really care but I do need to receive the order some how. The form works just fine the way it is now, but I can’t figure out how to incorporate prices for all the options and then have a total for the customer when they submit.

Any ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I would suggest getting a server side script/software to do it for you.

Something like Actinic Catalogue (free for 25 products) or PDAdmin

Here is a javascript example
