I would really like to learn Perl and PHP on my computer as i do not have a web site online at the moment but get confused on what version, build and server to download etc. Would really appreciate any help given on this subject. I have a very good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Thanks. :roll: kwikmann

the latest versions of php can be downloaded at their website, with installation instructions and everything... http://php.net
php5 is the newest right now.

You may want to look into a combined package installer.

You won't get the latest versions but they should all be stable and compatible.
