I can't seem to save my work. I save it as mypage.html, and it shows it as a Firefox page, which I do want. But, then I don't see the notepad saved version. What should I do to save it on their? Should I save as Unicode?? I want it to show, so when I need to work on it, I can easily access it.

Save it as a .html file and when you want to change code right click and choose open with notepad.

I meant save as .html, like you said.
Are you sure you are saving to the desktop?

Hmm, maybe you should run a virus scan...
It sounds like a weird problem...

hmm.. no no no. when you save it as a .html file windows by default makes it open with your current default web browser, if you still want to save it as a text file so that you have both the html file and the text, save it as a regular .doc file which should be the default that notepad or the editor chooses, you'll have to go into save as and the same name should appear, just click save. do not type html otherwise it will create the actual web document.

Right click on the HTML file and choose open with Notepad. You don't want to change the default for .HTML to notepad, you want that to be a browser.
