Hi guys,

Something weird is happening to my page.
So i have included a SSI for my menu on this page to see if it works...and it does. However if you go to this page you see Ã¯Â»Â¿ written above the menu that is included.

The weird thing is that these letters do not appear in the code of the SHTML page or in the menu.htm page.

If I do an preview in browser for the pages separately they don't show up either. How can I get rid of this.

I noticed that one as well. The weird thing is that you can see it when you look at the page source.
but here comes the weird bit. You can only see it on the page source. It is not in the code that I wrote.

This is the code that I wrote on the shtml page

And when I publish it, I get that weird Ã¯Â»Â¿ in the code.

It looks like the server puts it there, is this possible?

Take out this code

It has nothing to do with an html 4.01 strict doctype. Your content type should be Code: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
