HTML Help

Hi,
I need help with YSB.. I have made a site and im now in the process of optimizing it with IBP ARELIS software. So when i run the HTML validator it says:
1.This page is not Valid (no Doctype found)!
2.It was not possible to reliably choose a parsing mode for this document, because:
the MIME Media Type (text/html) can be used for XML or SGML document types
No known Document Type could be detected
No XML declaration (e.g <?xml version="1.0"?>) could be found at the beginning of the document.
The validator is falling back to SGML mode........

Does anyone know how to solve this?? Shall i put a doc type or leave as is? the site is http://www.sig.gr

stelios - I split your topic from the other since it was really a new topic with other problems.

You should have a DOCTYPE in at least. This should always be there - otherwise Internet Explorer might be in quirks mode.
