Are there any sources online for a free onmouseover dropdown menu? Or do I need to buy a program if I want it done right?

There are brothercake, alistapart and many others.
Just depends on what you want most and what works for you.

It looks the first link you sent is for a paid service, but the second one appears to be free. I'll have to try my hand at writing html!

another option is that you can download templates where drop drown already available.

Now I have searched best site www.cssmenumaker.com last week.I was also required drop drown menu at that time my friend was recommended me this site. I found this is too good site.
