HOW DO I SET A "START VOLUME" ON A FLASH AUDIO PLA

Hi, new here...I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum. I'm trying to set a default start volume for my flash music player...I'ver tried all kinds of different "volume=50" type settings, however, I have no idea what I'm doing...is it possible that the default volume is built into the player itself? THANKS!
