png transperancy

Hello all,

I am new here so bare with me. Heres my question.

I am creating a basic layout in HTML. I have a PNG image i have used and saved with transparency. When I view in firefox...all is okay. But when I view in IE the transparency is white or a whitish blue instead of full transparent?

What am I doing wrong?

What program did you use? Is it saved as a png-8, png-24 or png-32? IE will only recognize and display png-8's. Have you tried saving as a transparent gif?
