Question - Would adding a frame mess up my SEO w/
Google? Could i lose placement or the listing all together?

Hi I wanted to add a frame to a site I built from HTML and a chat widget. www.textingg.com - Texting Guide And Codes is the address. If I can add a frame a user can chat with the chat widget and search the codes and guide at the same time. Right now users users have to press links on the page to go back and forth to chat , making the actual chat box temp. until they find their texting code and move back to top of page.

I really just need the code to make a scroll box out of my 1000 or so text codes - that way i dont have to make a frame

thanks any advice appreciated

Probably but maybe not. The really big problem is when someone is directed over to a specific link to your website. Then if you are relying on a frame for navigation, that is no longer there.

Why do you want to use frames? There is no good reason to use them that I can think of.

If it is to create some type of scrolling - use a div to have a scroll something like
Code:
<div style="width: 300px; height: 250px; overflow:auto; border: 1px sold #fff; color: #000">
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Donec dapibus urna a neque. Maecenas ornare fringilla nulla. Aliquam fringilla rhoncus ante. Donec posuere purus. Suspendisse porta mauris in mi. Aliquam tortor nisi, mattis id, accumsan id, auctor sit amet, justo. Nunc lacus. Vivamus facilisis arcu ac erat. Nunc feugiat elementum mauris. Maecenas id tortor eu tortor vulputate consectetuer. Sed accumsan metus in tellus. Ut quam.
<br /><br />
Aenean orci. Donec fermentum commodo enim. Nullam vitae massa. Duis pellentesque varius ipsum. Cras felis. Nulla cursus turpis in magna. Donec a velit iaculis lectus ullamcorper placerat. Vivamus tempor tellus id tortor. Pellentesque habitant morbi tristique senectus et netus et malesuada fames ac turpis egestas. Fusce erat magna, tincidunt non, fermentum non, tincidunt ut, tellus. Vestibulum eu leo. Mauris est. Ut urna ante, mollis quis, ornare imperdiet, consectetuer quis, arcu. Vestibulum ante ipsum primis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices posuere cubilia Curae
</div>

I gave it a quick test and thats what i think im looking for. I just have to make the width a bit wider so all my texting codes can fit. I m sure i can do it.

Thanx
