How can I fix a Broken Google domain Name link?

Hi does anyone know how to fix a domain that was dropped by google because of duplicate content. I redirected the name after the fact and it still does not show up. There is one page that shows up , it is a txt file. I figured i would hook that txt file to new index page and hope google indexs it . the domain name is
www.virtualreo.com - my index page that disappeared Crying or Very sad

I had two, countem 2, </html> tags on the bottom , seprated with a </body> tag.

Looked like this

</html>
</body>
</html>

Did this have any affect , Im sure.

Having incorrect code could possibly be one problem. But you said duplicate content - which some SEs frown on. And there was Heads up on recent widespread Google rank which also might have affected it.
