Hello,
Our website is static HTML with embedded Flash images/animations. We would like to include background music that is turned "off" by default but can be turned "on" by a vistor, if desired.
The problem that we are facing during our tests is that whenever one clicks on a new page, the music is automatically switched back to default value, making an uninterrupted music playing impossible.
We are aware that with a Flash website the above would be easily possible and that there might be workarounds with PHP but we are concerned about search engine friendliness or better unfriendliness of such options.
Our question: Is there a straight forward way to play untinterrupted background music while browsing different pages of a static HTML website?
Any help with that appreciated. |

| Thank you, Corey. Appreciated. We will try it out and measure if and to what extend it will effect our search engine performance. |

You biggest problem is when search engines link directly to said page. It won't matter as much for you if your navigation is on there but from what I can remember, when HTML5 comes out, <frames> are no longer listed. They will probably be supported but they seem to finally be dropped because of all the issues they have
