Uploading live pictures via FTP

I'm trying to set up a camera to watch my dog at home to see if she's destroying things. I know how to upload the pictures to my website live via FTP, but I don't know how to make them display on the website without direct links to each picture set in the code itself. Basically, I'd like to have a live updating slide show of what's going on at home. Please help. Thanks.
