Help with dropdown menu links to other frames

I am practicing with html and have encountered a problem. I have coded a drop down menu, but I cannot figure out how to make it so that the new page loads in a different frame.
To make it easier to solve here is the format I am currently using example:

<form name="jump">
<select name="menu">
<option value="1">a</option>
<option value="2">b</option>
</select>
<input type="button" onClick="location=document.jump.menu.options[document.jump.menu.selectedIndex].value;" value="GO">
</form>

I would like it to display the new page in a frame called "main", if you could help me i would greatly appriciate it.

Are you making a form or a menu? Forms are for collecting data and menus are lists displaying data. Try using a list and using the attribute 'target'.

Keep in mind that this particular script calls a server side component redirect.pl

If you has access to a CGI folder and perl support then there are bucket fulls of free redirect programs available just by googling "redirect.pl"
