I'm sorry to bother anyone with this... but i am creating a Furry Fandom Fansite, and i need to know how to make a forum... kinda like the one we're on right now, but i i'm tired of lookin online for it, no one will tell me. so if you know the code to make it, or know where to find it (also if you know a code that allow me to scan the post before the visitor submits it) i'd appreciate it very much.

Towards the bottom of this forum, you will see something like powered by phpBB and there is a link to this code.

A couple of others - vBulletin (php & mysql); WebWiz (ASP & MS Access / MSSQL)

You will need to contact your hosting company or look on their plans page. This will usually tell you if PHP / ASP / .NET is supported. This is a server side language that is used to communicate to a database (MS Access, MSSQL, mysql, etc).

Usually if you are on *NIX, PHP and mysql is usually the chosen option. If you are on Windows, either ASP or .NET with MS Access or MSSQL as the database.
