Losing background/text color when converting HTML to PDF

Hi all - I have an HTML doc that I'm converting to a PDF via cutePDF Writer. When I do this, my green background color in my header disappears (becomes white). The white text that I have on the green background turns gray. Any idea as to why this is happening, and what can I do to prevent losing these colors?

I have never used cutePDF, but do they have a support site? They would probably know more than someone here.
