i was wondering if someone could help me with my html awhile ago my friend had helped me and did alot of my website but my website is a little sluggish and was told that it has html and xhtml mixed together and is done very poorly so i was wondering if someone could go through my html with me and help me make it better

ok, well to start out, was most of it typed in html or html? and what exactly do you mean by "sluggish"? i dont do much xhtml, but have you checked out this site yet?:

they are VERY informative, and you could probably fix this problem yourself.

yea i have been to that site and have learned alot about html but not enough to do what i need and i mean my website is sluggish because it always takes long to load and a guy who had been helping me a little said that the html was done poorly and that it shouldbe redone and the right way i thinkt heres more html then xhtml and theres alot of html that doesnt belong and it looks all mumbled jumble and i see that it needs to be put together alot neater and i think thats why its a little sluggish and was wanting someone to go over my work and help me fix anything that needs to be fixed or takin out or dont belong because i havent found any type of program that will fix the errors for me

well, i do know a program that can fix this. Microsoft expression web works. if you give me the code, i will run it thro;ugh and try to fix everrything. it works sort of like a spell checker. one more question though. is your site on the www yet? if i saw what kinds of problems there were, it would go even faster with the spell check. i do however reccomend that you start looking for a good prgram to help you. i think that by far the best prgram would be expression web, but it might be on the rather expensive side. i received it for a gift.

also i am having an issue with several html pages its not reconiging the different doc types i have tried a buch of them such as strict, traditional and framset

and on the main page after my intro it goes into my site and i have real player on the left so it will play my song it works fine in internet explorer but in firefox it will not it just says missing pluggin and i click install pluggin and then it says no pluggins availible
