Hello everybody. I am working on a photo page and I'm interested in having a scrolling bar on the side or bottom of the page with thumbnails for a person to click on. I would like it to scroll when the user moves the curser either left or right on the bar. When the user clicks on an image, I would like the photo to appear in a targeted window on the page.

What is the quickest and easiest way to do this? I've seen several sollutions, but they are all rather complicated. I'm sure this will require javascript to do, but the less of that I can get away with the better. I can implement javascript, but I have trouble reading/writing it.

Flash would work as well. If you don't like using JavaScript, this would be quite an effective solution.

Ah. In which case, JavaScript is your best bet.

I'd help you out with the code, but I have zero experience with JavaScript

hi ..
I think there is no way better than using java code, but if you want the easiest way .. you may want to use the marquee code, which is a slide bar actualy. It can be just a text moving from righ to left or whatever. Also it can be many images.

<marquee><img src="....."><img src="....."></marque>
so what you think Smile ?

oh, i forgot to tell about the cilck, simpley, you can add the "a href" code. which leads to another page that has a bigger size of that picture. you know these stuff Smile
