I don't understand why I can't decode this.

I've been trying to decode a name that someone made with HTML letters but i can't figure out what is wrong. This game do not allow regular spacing yet this name is able to be made with everything as followed:

Lüx Aè†érnâ (this is what i tried but did not work)

A friend said it could be the spacing but i don't really know.
