How to insert PHP menu into Dreamweaver page?

I created a page called menu.php so that I can edit a menu for my site all in one place instead of opening each single web page and having to edit the menu on each web page.

How do I insert that PHP code into my web page? When I do, the rest of the page disappears in design view in dreamweaver. I have to have that remain visible so that I can still easy edit the page.

Please help if you can! Thank you.
