How to make ONE menu for entire site without copy and paste

I am making a site with a side bar of many links. But as the site goes on and articles are added, these links grow. But it is WAY too much to add a category to the nav bar for EVERY SINGLE PAGE. Is there any way to make ONE menu and then load it into each page. When I edit that ONE menu it changes it for all the other pages as well. Is this possible?

You can use server side includes. A good php includes tutorial here. And see the ssi topic this forum.
