Refreshing Frames

I have created a website using a top and bottom frame. The top frame contains links which are shown in the bottom frame. All frames are showing correctly but when i refresh the page the bottom frame always goes back to the main page.

I know i can refresh by right clicking in the bottom frame but is there some html i can insert somewhere to refresh the whole site still showing the chosen bottom frame? Any help would be appreciated thanks.
