Text Moving In Different Browsers - Is there a way to lock

Hello.
I have had a site for while that I created in Photoshop / Imageready and then used Frontpage to finish off.
It was then suggested to me that I needed to change this as my site was basically all images and as a result, would never be found via Google.
Trouble is that when I add text it moves postion all the time depending on browser type and resolution. I have even put the text into another layer to try and lock the position.
Any ideas how to do this sucessfully. The site is www.dcpnugget.co.uk and the code is as follows,

The BIGGEST mistake you made is this: "created in Photoshop / Imageready and then used Frontpage to finish off"

FrontPage is NOT a cross-broswer compatible web site maker. Photoshop/ImageReady are just fine as a graphics editor, but NOT for making a full web page.

FrontPage/Word/Publisher and similar products from Microsoft insert Schema which is not understood by any browser other than ones using the IE Engine.

Tables went out in the late 1990s when CSS came. Only reason they were used for making page layouts is because that was all that was available. Tables were and STILL are for data presentation. That's why "<td>" stands for "table data".

You have some serious HTML coding errors that need correcting. Your page is not a properly formed HTML document. You are not using a DocType which is putting browsers into Quirks Mode and you have lost control of how your pages are presented because of this.

Post back if you need help correcting these errors, but they may be part of your problem.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I created the site myself and I am quite proud of that but I had no idea that I was so wide of the mark.
I took the design of the site from a photoshop tutorial because I wanted the site to look professional but I only have frontpage hence the reason for using this combination. Would it help if I got a copy of Dreamweaver?
Having looked at the HTML link that you kindly put on a lot of it is way out of my league so any help would be very gratefully received

Two important links for any one making web pages are the CSS and HTML Validators:

Photoshop/FrontPage/Dreamweaver/Word/Publisher are not web editors per se. They have their uses. PS for graphics only, DW if you know how to hand code as you need to use code source view from time to time. Word/FrontPage/Publisher as web page makers...NEVER!

Hi and thanks again.
The reason that I use Frontpage is that it is the only web program that I have any (albeit very limited) experience of.
I would like to try and sort out the issues that I have in using frontpage as I want to continue to update the site myself.
I have corrected some of the errors that the html checker that you provide me with the link for but there are still some more.
If have read what it says time and time again but I am really struggling to make sense of it.
Any advice that you can give would be very much appreciated.

So sorry for not getting back to you quicker. Exactlt what problem(s) are you having with your code? The validation errors or what?

You are using a frameset doctag but not using frames??????

Your text moves in different directions because you are using way too much absolute positioning.
