Hi... I thought this would be a common question and I did search the forums but didn't find what I needed.

I'm working on some old code that I inherited from a friend and I'm having an issue with the spacing before the footer on this one page.

The url to view source is... http://eatmetv.net/recipes/chucksteak.html

I'm new here and not sure if it's preferred to post all the code in the question or not.

thanks,
greg

This might be your problem
Code:
<tr height="4282">
               <td width="280" height="422" valign="top" align="left" xpos="0"><img src="../images/images/meatoo_15.jpg" alt="" width="280" height="94" border="0"></td>
              <td width="1" height="422"><spacer type="block" width="1" height="4282"></td>
           </tr>
            <tr height="1" cntrlrow>
               <td width="280" height="18"><spacer type="block" width="280" height="1"></td>

              <td width="523" height="18"><spacer type="block" width="523" height="1"></td>

With a height of 4282px there will be a space. There should be no need for all those spacers.

I tried reducing the height on four instances, two of the ones you pointed out and it removed the space but created spaces between the left nav slices which is something else i've been fighting within this code. After trying every different way to reduce the height that you mentioned, it just wouldn't give me the results I wanted over-all. So I grabbed another page as a template with less height and it that worked... for now.

Thanks for your reply!
