If you just enter the code to show the image then no file path will show up anywhere when it is hovered over. However if it is made a link then the link path will show in the lower left of the browser window.
The alt text is for screen readers and is meant to be descriptive text for images. If you want it to say something specific when hovered over, use the title tag. The target tag is deprecated and should not be used.
Code:
<a href="http://s302.photobucket.com/albums/nn98/bikinibeegee/?action=view¤t=exDoggieByTHUGs.jpg"><img src="http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn98/bikinibeegee/exDoggieByTHUGs.jpg" border="0" alt="Image of sheep dog" title="I'm Learning.... Wags and Licks"></a>
The Second one is for HTML coding. The first is for Forums The reason it didnt show up on here is because you forgot the ( [ ) at the beginning. I would put it n paste it here but thats to your privacy so i dont wanna.
