how to insert css in interavon template?

How do I put my code into an existing template? Avon.ca gives reps a basic (read:ugly with tiny print) site where you type your paragraphs into a box and submit it. I tried inserting code in the content box to change the font size, color, etc and it won't work. Would anyone have time to help me with this?

Thank you, PayneLess for taking the time to post all those links...the wix one looks interesting but I wondered if flash is accessible to pretty much everyone--does it work with internet explorer? with linux?

Flash works fine in modern browsers. It is not very Search Engine friendly since it is basically a media file. Might just play with it and make a flash site for practice. Techniques can be used in a smaller role on your own HTML page should you want a flash banner or interactive navigation buttons.
