Links in the frame

I'm kind of new to iframes. . .Now I can make the frame work, but i can't make a link to another page pop up inside the frame correctly and keep the same thing outside of the frame. . .can someone help me with this or send me to a page that has the same thing I am looking for so I can view their codes. . .I can figure it out that way.

Watch out for the pop-ups though...

But basically, you just make the link targeted at the iframe's name:

I am trying to do sort of the opposite.

I am trying to make a more elaborate navigation section at the bottom of each of my web pages. I would like to make it easy to modify this section when I add a new page or change the title of an existing page. I have a page with the these direct selections to any page in my web site organized as I would like to see it.

My host does not support SSI, therefore, I cannot use the “INCLUDE”

My code is:

<IFRAME src="NAVIGATE.html" width=650 height=200>
<A HREF="NAVIGATE.html">
</A>
</IFRAME>

I am using “Forum Index: Web Studio 4.0” and this code is imbedded in a text object
