I need some help! I figured out a way to make java based popups work on myspace profile, kind of... 1st, they ONLY work with mozilla browsers. 2nd, they only seem to work on the preview code after you enter it... It works fine when you click Preview on the edit box, but once you view the profile it don't work... This is what I need help with. I checked the source code on both the preview page and the actualy profile page, and they both appear to be the same (in terms of the actual code of course). If anyone have knowlage in this area please get back to me! I do not want to post the code on here because WHEN i get it working, I dont want everyone and they're dog using it and getting it fixed by myspace!
Thank you |

| Alright here's the deal. Above the tables in the "edit profile" segment on myspace it sais you can use "HTML+DHTML+CSS, but please no JavaScripts". So, lets use our brains on this one, what is a java popup? A javasript. But anyway, Myspace is most likely coded in JavaScripts, hence why it works in preview. But the reason it doesn't work in your actual profiile is most likely Tom has JavaScripts disabled, or he doesn't use them in the actual profile. So try this, you may have done it already but i'll type it any way. Make sure u identify the "javascript" while your writing the popup code in your "edit profile" segment. If you've already done that, then its just flat out not going to work...Sorry |
