Web Site Referral Plan ideas??

I'm not sure where to post this question...

A computer business in town contacted me and told me they want to work with me on web site referrals, as they are contacted all the time about web site development. They don't provide this service and want to work with me.

I told them I don't have a referral plan in place but am willing to think about it and talk it over with them.

I am a small home based business, and although I'm doing well, I'm not making a fortune. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what would be fair to both them and myself? A certain percentage of the total design fee? Any other ideas?

It depends - usually some affiliates get paid 10% or others sometimes contract the work out to you while marking it up some
