bringing wordpress into your website?

hey guys...

it's that time again

my client has this website http://www.paintlessbusiness.com/. I created a blog for it here http://www.paintlessbusiness.com/wordpress/.

my question is...my client doesn't want the content of his website pages in his blog(http://www.paintlessbusiness.com/wordpress/) ...but rather he wants... Wordpress put into his already existing website.

is this even possible? I believe it is...here's an example...look at the domain name http://landrovernews.com/.

i already uploaded wordpress and edited the config and settings.php files and of course, created a mysql database for it...and now that that's all set...i have this challenge of somehow implementing wordpress onto an existing website.

someone mentioned this...
"use the URL pointer in the CP?"

my question is....
where is the URL pointer exactly? if it's in the CP, where is the CP? what does CP stand for? which directory is it in?

can someone please point me in the right direction or answer? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ok so i went to Options in my wordpress blog and changed my two options for my url...

i was told to change it to...

paintlessbusiness/wordpress
and the other one to...
paintlessbusiness

i clicked on update options and now i get this 404 error everywhere.

i can't even do anything for my blog because it gives me this 404 error.

it's running as just html without a template...it's all messed up.
