I took over working on a web site for an artist friend. The previous web designer used some big gaudy copyright notices on a lot of the images.

Wondered if posting copyright information on the web site (on its own page) is sufficient protection to keep people from using the images or is it best to place a copyright mark on each image?

Thanks
Dale

If the people want your images, they are going to take them - keep that in mind. Copyright is just words on paper unfortunately.

You might also take a look at the company digimarc as well.
