Hi, I know how to use secure includes but what do I need to do differently to swap out images? I tried and failed miserably. If anyone can explain or link me to an example / tut, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Are you look for a Rollover Script script?

Otherwise you might take a look at Dynamic Drive for some examples. It was confusing since you asked in the PHP topic area when usually changing images involves JavaScript.

I guess I could have done a better job trying to explain. I have a page and for this example we will call it gallery.php. When the gallery is open it has multiple thumbnails and when you click a thumbnail it will open a popup (viewer.php) and display the full size image. When you click the selected thumnail, I want it to pop up and display inside the viewer.php. Similar to php includes but instead of code / page I want it to be an image. So the viewer.php always opens but with the images swapping out. This is the best I can explain. Hopefully someone understands what I am trying to accomplish. Thanks

Well if it is a pop-up, chances are the pop-up window will be the same name. However, when they click on the main page, the pop-up will change but it will be in the background.

First off thanks for trying to help me out. Secondly I have found an example, I probably have it all wrong in my head. Maybe you can explain how he is doing this.

http://www.mickm.com/index.php?section=portfolio

When you click the link it opens up the popup and the fullsize image is displayed in between the header and footer image. Thanks again.

Edit : The images link to http://wwwmickm.com/includes/popup.php?img=websites/imagename.jpg .. The same pop up window just including different full size image.

Chances are that is just a photo album script and he just uses a pop-up instead. Basically similar to my script. You are always opening one page but depending on the parameters, that is what determines your image.

Is your script available for download? If not where could I find a similar one? Thanks

Well not really. It is just something we did. But there are hundreds of them. Plus it is ASP and it seems you are wanting PHP? Hotscripts lists some image galleries that might help you out. A lot of them are free - you just usually need an mysql database and the script will set everything up for you
