Well I was trying a different route from the SSI.
I was going to try and do the same thing by creating a template, and just updating the template, in DW.
http://www.wiltoncordrey.com/indextest.asp
Is the homepage created from a temp.
(Click on Wood Collection image to go to second page)
http://www.wiltoncordrey.com/wood/casegood.asp
Is the second page created from temp.
The table content should be the only editable region, but the head says it has some too.
My problem, the drop down under wood collection shows up on indextest.asp, but not under casegood.asp
(Look in heading. It says editable region. If it didnt say that, wouldnt it work?) I will keep working on it. |

looking closer at heading, the editable region does not appear to encapsulate the javascript related to the menus.

My second page is in another folder in the root.
My mm_menu.js script is iin my root.
I made a copy of that script and saved it in the same folder as my casegood.asp file.
Is there a way to call the original .js file so I dont have to make copies? |

After creating the page, you can detach template, and make changes that were previously locked.
Then I called in the JS file from the root. |

Use a virtual or absolute path. Using a virtual path will push the path back to the root and start there

Well, I've trying to create my own template for my profile on Friendster.
But, it doesn't work.
I've found this profile, http://www.friendster.com/maddyhairie.
Its nice, not like the others.
Do you have any ideas to cover the original page?
I'm sure that she used some coding to cover the original page, then she used her own template and paste it.
Hopefully, one day I can do it as she done. |
