I´m a beginner in html and I'll have a "problem" when I merge a forum in PHP to a website in HTML ?

I use a theme from SimpleMachines 1.1.2 (PHP) in a forum and now I am building a website in HTML using Dreamweaver. How can I merge the forum with a link to the website? Can I put the folder with the forum in the public_html folder and then make a link with the proper URL?

My forum is at http://meteoiberia.com

I think I going to have some trouble merging them next month when I put both online. Can you give me a clue, please?

Thanks for your help.

Not clear on your problem. Is http://meteoiberiA.com/ your site? Or is this the forum you plan to use on another site you have? Normally your host should have a CPanel/VDeck or whatever you can use to install your forum into any directory. Then in your nav tags you just use:

<a href="path to forum" title="Forum name">Text Link Name</a>

Depending on document type you use, you can have it open in another tab/window with target="_blank". Then editing your forum as administarator, you can add a link back to your Home page if you want.

Hope this is what you wanted.

About the forum, it is already online since 2 months ago. I know the CPanel; I´m just afraid on doing something wrong as the result is crashing the forum.
I still don´t have the main site online. My doubt was when I be doing that operation of relinking the existing forum to the new main site.
I did understand your explanation and I'll try my best.
Thank for your explanation.

Hi:

If you have problems after getting the main site online, post back here. I understand from what you said that the forum is on one site and you have another site you will be using, but want to link the two? Correct?
