Hi ppl!
I know that (the usual genius move) microsoft stopped supporting html in outlook 2007.
What can I do now? I need to put radio buttons, drop downs, and page conformation in the email itself.
Can someone help me overcoming this thing? maybe someone found how we can continue send normal emails and still use office 2007?
Thanks in advance, Michael. |

I am receiving HTML emails in Outlook 2007.
What were you using before? The problem is that Frontpage (no longer being made) was an office product and some things relied on that to help create HTML.
Have you tried to create the HTML and then copy it into Outlook? For example, if I create the HTML in Expression Web, view that page in Design Mode, select All, copy and Paste it into Outlook, I will see the page that I just designed.

this is what i do:
im sending some kind of verification email, that most of client open with outlook.
this email is a simple html form, that contains some drop downs and another HTML stuff.
a client need to fill in his "plans to the future" (chosen from drop downs) and press a "send" button, then the form is beeing sent to me. |

How were you creating it before? Were you relying on Outlook WYSIWYG basic functions? You can always create your own HTML - display it in a browser and copy that as well into Outlook

So perhaps I am misunderstanding then. You are not creating an HTML email in Outlook.
Outlook 2007 will still read HTML emails - I get them all the time.
Outlook 2007 won't download images unless it is set up that way. It won't download anything external unless the receiver permits it for security reasons. Plus a lot of spammers use a little image to see if the email was received / read to help validate the email address.
You will need to rely on the user to allow your email to download anything that you send. I did just send a test and I was able to get an HTML email with a radio button in it as well.
