(First, I have no idea why my simple post of verbage here is causing hanging indents and/or apparently centering text rather than left justify text in the PREVIEW rendering...I did nothing unusual in my entry. But that is not my main question)
To be honest, this maybe is more of a question for a phpBB admin on USING phpBB....however, when I go to that forum, all of the BB's there seem to be for administrators. So I am not sure where to go.
Ok, I do some work on a phpBB site unrelated to this forum...totally different website and topic...the version is phpBB 2.0.17.
When I go to "Post a Reply", I can see the admin has allowed me HTML ON, BBCode ON, Smilies ON...otherwise the look and capabilities seem to be about the same interface as this HTML site.
I am trying to create a table in my post so there is a simple grid displayed, just like a MS Word table....I just cannot figure out how to enter it. I have searched BBCode tutorials and there seems to be no support for tables there.
I do have HTML capability, but I don't know how to put HTML code for a table formation in a format that causes phpBB to trap out and see the table code...I just don't know what I am doing wrong...I have tried
using HTML in braces [html]...[/html/] and it just represents in the preview as that literal verbage..it is not interpreting and rendering.
Can someone help...there may be a web site or post here that treats this but I cannot seem to find anything with my Google searches.....I will worry about my actual HTML table code IF I can JUST get phpBB to render something.
Thanks. |
