It depends - do you know code? If not you might want a WYSIWYG editor. I have been using Expression Web - the new Frontpage. It writes compliant (X)HTML and does a pretty good job. The couple of sites that I created I have been extremely pleased with the results.
A free WYSIWYG editor is NVU.

I really don't give opions on how well a website looks - since that is always an opinion and everyone has one.
But as far as validation, you can validate your HTML code. Using the alt attribute in your image tag will be a good start and start to use CSS to define your styles - the <font> tag is deprecated.

I would like for Corey to respond,I'm new to this and he caught my eye with his responses to others. He doesn't except pm's. I'm not turning down other respones, but would like to hear from him. I'm new and extremely lost to html. I'm tying to put together a website to earn an additional income. I've got everything needed to get the site going, but so it wouldn't cost me alot I have to put it together with the info they sent me,such as prices and codes and pictures(like 1100). I went into my word and fixed the info needed to get the prices to change. I no longer have that and need to also find somewhere to get it cheap or free. And also needed the address to the NVU site suggested for someone who didnt know html code either. |
