Do we need Beginner and General topics

I hate jumping from topic to topic to catch up on new posts. I propose eliminating the Beginner and General topics since nearly all of the posts deal with subjects relevant to posts in either the 9, 10, 12 or other topics. Just my .02. Thanks.

Everyone has to start somewhere which makes them a beginner. As they obtain more knowledge, they move up to the general knowledge. So, I'm not sure what your point is in relation to this forum.
