Preventing Page From Dropping

I'm creating a web page and I'm using IFRAMES with anchors in them. I have a menu bar with the anchor links to the left side of the IFRAME, the whole page is basicly run by it. But I'm having a problem, whenever I click on one of my anchor links, it drops the page cutting out of the information that I want (I know its an anchor effect). Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? I want the whole page to stay in place, even when I click on the anchor link, so it doesn't drop my page.

Before I posted, I Looked around for any Javascript or any thing that could help me with this but I didn't find anything useful. Can anyone help me with this fustruating problem? Thanks.
