help with targets

its not directin the pages in frame. it opens a new window. frame3 is my mainframe and i want pages to open in frame on the same page. please help

Well, you need to give frame3 a name, so it'd be like <frame name="frame3">
and then in the links you put <a href="whateverpage.htm" target="frame3">click</a>

Have you set up the frames yet in another HTML file using FRAMESET
