Im still a noob with advanced HTML and JS and so on, but what is the proper code to open a given link in a text field targeted to open in another frame?

To explain it a little better, I have an empty textfield in which the user can enter a link, and when they press a submit button it will open that link in another frame below.

I appreciate any help.

EDIT:

I have found how to open a URL through an input field but how do you target it? The target I want it to target to is named "target".

<input type="text" name="href" value="http://www.google.com">
<input type="button" value="Go!" onClick="location.href=document.openlocation.href.value;">
</form>


What should I do with this code to make it open the given link in "target"?

Finally I have found it!

For anyone who is going in the way I am, the way to open a link through an input box in another frame the code is:
Code:

<form name="openlocation">
<input type="text" name="href" value="http://www.google.com">
<input type="button" value="Go!" onClick="parent.TARGETNAMEGOESHERE.location.href=document.openlocation.href.value;">
</form>

The value of the input field is customizable and so are the names, just make sure you change the names in the onClick attribute if you change the others.
