HTML table error Firefox vs IE vs Chrome

I am creating an email newsletter and have uploaded the text. iContact does not like code created in MSWORD or FrontPage, so I used notepad. The page looks great in Chrome and in Firefox. In Outlook Email, and in IE7, the text overwrites the tables.

I would correct the following coding errors first. Might even solve your problem. You are also using an improper document type which no browser recognizes causing them to use Quirks Mode to parse your page.

HTML Errors

Bad idea to mix tables and divs. Tables are for tabular data layout and not a page layout.

You can see I don't really understand the use of the <DIV> use. Should that be removed for all mentioned in the report? I did not really understand the comments. One comment relates to "-itools" which occurs in a link that seems to work.

Should I choose a different doctype!

For an added line space between paragraphs should I simply use <p></P>

I wish I knew how to use CSS.
