Love the site; however, the popup examples are not working correctly for me in FireFox (works ok in IE). The popup window opens; however it is blank/empty.
I'm running WinXP SP2 (all updates); FireFox 1.0.3; popup blocking OFF; JavaScript ENABLED; spyware blocker not running; no other programs running.
I'm an HTML nOOb, any help appreciated! |

I don't understand why that should matter.
If I open the link referenced above using MSIE, then click on the link to display the popup, what I see in the popup is a page with the following text:
"Popup Window: Linking Back to the Opener
This is an example of a link in a popup window that refers back to the main window: "
If I do the same exact thing using FireFox, the popup window is completely blank. Even "view source" shows only the following (hope this doesn't screw up the view of this page):
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><title></title></head><body></body></html>
It is as if it is "generating" a bogus blank page instead of showing the correct example page. |

Works fine with my Firefox.
I could only assume it is a local problem. Have you tested other browsers such as Mozilla and Opera? |

My bad - and thank you for your patient assistance.
The URL for the page to be displayed in the popup contained the word "popup" which was being filtered by the FireFox AdBlock plugin (due to my clever inclusion of *popup* as a filter element).
I knew that AdBlock would block elements on a page; I had not known it would block the entire primary page URL!
